1913 – The Ford, Lincoln, Mercury dealership opened under the name of Jameson Ford. The location was in the middle of Fulton and later relocated to the south end of Fulton under the water tower. Advertising was soon promoted using the slogan Under The Tower in Fulton, Mo.
Hard work and dedication to ensuring quality products and service proved to be the foundation of a successful mid Missouri Ford dealership for years to come. It is the only dealership in mid Missouri located in Callaway county and surrounded by Audrian county, Cole county, Boone county and Montgommery county.
1961 – Don Keeney went to work for Jameson Ford as a salesman. He took his job serious, treated all of his customers with respect and has built a rapport that is unmatched in the industry.
It didn’t take long before Don started receiving awards as top salesman. Through honesty, dedication and hard work he achieved his master salesman award.
1986 – After 25 years of service to the Fulton and surrounding community Jameson Ford sold their well established dealership to a couple of gentleman who renamed the dealership Tower Ford. Don stayed with the new owners for 6 years as their top salesman and on the 6^th year he was both in sales and general manager. Being in the Ford car business for 31 years at this point made Don very familiar with all aspects of the dealership and what it took to keep customers coming back.
1992 – Tower Ford decided to sell the dealership. Don saw this as an opportunity to expand his career and keep his customers comfortable with knowing he would still be around and purchased Tower Ford.
He changed the name to Don Keeney’s Keen Ford officially launching his career as a select dealer, adding to his other achievements with Ford Motor Company. Combined with genuine quality and loyalty to his customers, Keen Ford has established a hometown dealership you know will be dependable and reliable as the owner himself.
After 45 years in the business he has decided to jump start the next generation. His daughter Dana Allan has now joined Don and under his strong leadership and will continue the tradition of taking care of the customer well into the new millennium.

The Ford dedication continues with Don’s extra curricular activities as well. In his spare time you can find him in his 1979 F250 pulling truck at trucks pulls in Callaway and surrounding counties.
His mechanics along with Don work diligently throughout the year to prepare for upcoming events. They have regularly pulled to the top of their class boasting what Built Ford Tough really means. With a .030 over 460 engine producing 500 hp, a C6 transmission and a Dana 70 rear – end there is no holding it back. Spectators cover their ears as they watch the torch red truck scream down the track. It is the pride of Keen Ford and the envy of competitors in all the surrounding counties.
Don also has a passion for Nascar racing. He frequently attends the races and of course cheers on the Ford power that he has supported and believed in for so many years.
